TSA Guidelines for Carry-ons
Limit containers of liquids, gels, aerosols, and pastes to a maximum size of three ounces each. Place these items in a single quart-size, clear plastic, zip-top bag. Remove this bag and any electronic devices from your carry-on and place them in the provided bin or directly on the conveyor belt at security.
Security Procedures
Be prepared for thorough questioning by security agents and possible luggage inspections. Common questions include:
- Is this your personal luggage?
- Did you personally pack it?
- Did anyone open your luggage after you packed it?
- Have you been given a package to carry for anyone?
- Why are you traveling?
- Do you know anyone in the country you are visiting?
- Do you know anyone on this tour, and how did you hear about it?
Due to extra security measures, check-in may take additional time. Arrive at the airport up to 3 hours before departure. Ensure that all carry-on items comply with TSA guidelines to avoid delays.
