Nahal Tours Terms & Conditions

Registration:
Registration is complete upon receipt of the required deposit. If the deposit is not received within 30 days of registration, it will be automatically canceled. Registrations submitted within 90 days of tour departure require full tour payment and a $100 late fee plus any additional fees associated with late registration. Tour space is limited; registration will close once availability is filled. By submitting registration, passengers confirm tour membership and acceptance of all tour terms and conditions.

Tour Price:
Tour prices are based on double occupancy with a required passenger minimum. If this minimum is not met, the tour price is subject to change. Airline seating for group tours is subject to availability; Nahal Tours may request but cannot guarantee seat assignments. The tour price reflects a discount for payments made by check. Returned checks are subject to applicable banking fees. Payment by Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express is accepted with a 3.9% non-refundable convenience fee. All rates are in U.S. dollars, per person, double occupancy.

Final Payment:
The final payment date is due 90 days prior to tour departure. Refer to your tour page for specific details and exceptions. Failure to pay by the final payment deadline will result in forfeiture of tour space and deposited funds.

Booking Fee:
In the event of tour cancellation for any reason beyond Nahal Tours’ control, a non-refundable $300 per person booking fee will be retained from monies paid.

Rooming:
Married couples are roommates by default. Individual passengers may identify a roommate or request a roommate assignment. Nahal Tours will make every effort to assign a suitable roommate but does not guarantee securing a roommate. If a roommate is unavailable, the single room supplement will apply. If an assigned roommate cancels, the individual is responsible for the single room supplement.

Passport/Visa:
A valid passport is required for all trips outside the U.S. Passports must be valid for six months beyond the tour return date. Non-U.S. passport holders should confirm visa requirements per the published tour itinerary. Passports and visas are not included in the tour price. Passengers are responsible for ensuring the registration name matches their valid passport and all related travel documents. Any expenses due to delays or itinerary changes related to inappropriate travel documents are the passenger’s responsibility and are not refundable.

Travel Insurance:
Passengers are recommended to secure insurance coverage to help protect against unforeseen events such as flight delays, trip interruption, or missed connection; baggage delay or loss; illness or emergency medical expenses. Passengers should become familiar with their specific plan coverage terms and details, including limitations and exclusions.

Agent Responsibility:
Nahal Tours and all cooperating agencies act only as agents for the hotels, airlines, bus companies, owners, or contractors providing accommodations, transportation, or other services (hereinafter Supplier). All coupons, exchange orders, receipts, contracts, and tickets issued by Nahal Tours are subject to all tariffs, terms and conditions under which any accommodation, transportation, or any other services are provided by such suppliers. By accepting tour membership, passengers agree to these terms and agree that neither Nahal Tours nor any of its employees or affiliates shall be liable for any loss, injury, damage, added expenses, or costs resulting from any causes beyond Nahal Tours’ control. This includes acts of God, hostilities, civil disturbances, strikes, riots, acts of terrorism, wars, epidemics, quarantines, medical or customs regulations, improper visas, passports, or other travel documents, defaults, or delays from any causes. Passengers voluntarily assume all risks of damage or loss involved with the tour, whether expected or unexpected. Passengers are advised to obtain appropriate insurance coverage against such risks. Nahal Tours reserves the right to refuse any person, before or during the tour and to cancel or change the tour, hotel, airline, or sightseeing should circumstances warrant.

Cancellations:
Notice of tour cancellation must be provided to Nahal Tours in writing and will take effect upon the date of receipt. Cancellation penalties before tour departure are as follows: up to 120 days = tour price less $250 handling fee; 119-60 days = tour price less $500 fee; 59-30 days = 50% of tour price; less than 29 days = non-refundable. All applicable airfare and overseas operation cancellation fees also apply. Unused tour cost portions are non-refundable. Allow 4 to 6 weeks for processing of refund.

Cancellation Due to Force Majeure Events:
In the event that a tour is canceled due to a force majeure circumstance, Nahal Tours will issue a Future Travel Credit (FTC) equivalent to the amount paid, minus any third-party expenses incurred. This FTC will be valid for one year from the date of issuance.

Should a travel event be interrupted mid-trip because of a force majeure event, and Nahal Tours provides alternative services or assistance (such as accommodation or transportation), you agree to cover these additional costs.

Force majeure events refer to any occurrences or situations beyond the control of Nahal Tours and its suppliers. This includes, but is not limited to, natural disasters, industrial actions, labor disputes, acts of terrorism, political unrest, war or threats of war, riots or civil disturbances, transportation delays or cancellations, airport or port closures, pandemics, epidemics, health risks, and governmental or administrative actions such as border closures and travel restrictions.

California passengers may request reimbursement from TCRC if owed a refund of more than $50 for transportation or travel services not refunded in a timely manner by a seller of travel registered and participating in the TCRC at the time of sale. The maximum amount payable by TCRC is $15,000. Claims must be submitted within six months after the scheduled completion date of travel. For questions, call (530) 809-4220.
