DAY 1 – TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 17
Departure
We depart the USA on our overnight flight to Tel Aviv, Israel, beginning our journey through the land of the Bible.
DAY 2 – WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 18
Arrival in Tel Aviv
Upon arrival at Ben Gurion Airport, we are met by our guide and transferred to our hotel in Tel Aviv for dinner and a restful overnight stay.

DAY 3 – THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 19
Coastal and Galilee Region
We travel north to visit Caesarea, the Roman capital on the sea, then ascend Mount Carmel, where Elijah confronted the prophets of Baal. From there, we explore the ruins of Megiddo, overlooking the Valley of Armageddon. Our day concludes in Nazareth, where we visit the Church of the Annunciation and the Mount of Precipice before arriving in the Galilee for dinner and overnight.

DAY 4 – FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 20
Ministry of Jesus in the Galilee
The day begins with panoramic views from the Arbel Cliffs, followed by visits to Magdala, home of Mary Magdalene, and the ancient synagogue at Chorazin. We continue to Capernaum, Jesus’ ministry base, and then to the Mount of Beatitudes. In the afternoon, we enjoy a peaceful boat ride on the Sea of Galilee, reflecting on the miracles that took place on these waters.

DAY 5 – SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 21
Northern Reaches
We explore the lush headwaters of the Jordan at Tel Dan, followed by Caesarea Philippi (Banias), where Peter declared Jesus as the Christ. From Mount Bental, we take in views of the Golan Heights and Syria. We end the day with a visit to the ancient synagogue at Katzrin.

DAY 6 – SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 22
Jordan Valley and Dead Sea
We descend through the Jordan Valley to the incredible Roman ruins of Bet Shean. Continuing south, we stop at Qumran, site of the Dead Sea Scroll discovery, and enjoy floating in the Dead Sea.

DAY 7 – MONDAY, FEBRUARY 23
Masada and Judean Wilderness
We ascend Masada by cable car to explore Herod’s desert fortress and the last stronghold of the Jewish revolt. At En Gedi, we recall David hiding from Saul. The day ends with a view over Wadi Qelt and St. George’s Monastery before heading to Jerusalem.

DAY 8 – TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 24
Ancient Jerusalem and the Israel Museum
Our day begins on the Temple Mount, followed by the Western Wall Tunnels and the Southern Temple Steps. We explore the City of David, including Hezekiah’s Tunnel, before visiting the Israel Museum to view the Second Temple Model, the Dead Sea Scrolls, and archaeological exhibits.

DAY 9 – WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 25
Biblical Heartland – Samaria
We journey north into Samaria to visit Shiloh, the resting place of the Ark of the Covenant, and Mount Gerizim, sacred to the Samaritans. Stops include Shechem (Tel Balata), Jacob’s Well, and the ruins of Sebaste, once home to Herod’s palace.

DAY 10 – THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 26
Bethlehem and the Mount of Olives
We begin the day at Herodium, Herod the Great’s mountain fortress and burial site, followed by a visit to Bethlehem and the Church of the Nativity. Back in Jerusalem, we stand atop the Mount of Olives, walk down to Dominus Flevit, and reflect in the Garden of Gethsemane. In the Old City, we visit St. Anne’s Church, the Pools of Bethesda, and the Church of the Holy Sepulcher.

DAY 11 – FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 27
Yad Vashem and Free Afternoon
We begin with a sobering visit to Yad Vashem, Israel’s official Holocaust memorial and museum. The rest of the day is free for shopping or personal exploration in Jerusalem.

DAY 12 – SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 28
Final Touring and Departure
The itinerary for our final touring day is to be determined, with details provided closer to the time. In the evening, we transfer to the airport for our return flight home.
