Nahal Tours Terms & Conditions
This document outlines important participant acknowledgments along with the Terms & Conditions governing participation in a Nahal Tours travel program. Our goal is to provide a safe, meaningful, and exceptionally well-managed travel experience for every passenger.
By registering for a tour and submitting payment, the passenger acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by these Terms & Conditions.
Questions are always welcome. Nahal Tours is available to provide clarification at any time.
Registration and Acceptance of Terms
Registration is considered complete upon receipt of the required deposit. Deposits must be submitted electronically via credit card or e-check at the time of registration unless otherwise specified.
Submission of registration and payment constitutes acceptance of all published Terms & Conditions, whether provided in print or digital format.
Tour space is limited and available on a first-come basis. Nahal Tours reserves the right to decline any registration prior to acceptance.
Registrations submitted within 90 days of departure require full payment, a $100 late registration fee, and any supplier-imposed fees associated with late booking.
Pricing and Rate Adjustments
All tour prices are quoted in U.S. dollars and are based on double occupancy unless otherwise stated.
Pricing is calculated using current supplier rates, exchange rates, fuel costs, taxes, and operational expenses at the time of publication. Nahal Tours reserves the right to adjust pricing prior to final payment in the event of significant cost increases outside its control, including but not limited to:
• airline fuel surcharges
• currency fluctuations
• governmental taxes or fees
• supplier cost increases
• security-related operational changes
If a required passenger minimum is not met, pricing may be revised accordingly.
Airline seating is subject to availability. While requests may be submitted, seat assignments cannot be guaranteed.
Payments made by credit card are subject to a non-refundable convenience fee. Returned checks are subject to applicable banking fees.
Payment Schedule
A second deposit is typically due approximately six months prior to departure. Final payment is due 90 days prior to departure unless otherwise specified on the tour webpage.
Failure to meet payment deadlines may result in cancellation of tour space and forfeiture of deposited funds.

Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
By submitting payment, the passenger agrees not to initiate a credit card dispute or chargeback without first providing Nahal Tours written notice and a reasonable opportunity to resolve the matter.
Chargebacks initiated in violation of these Terms may result in the passenger being responsible for all associated fees, collection costs, and legal expenses.
Force Majeure
Nahal Tours shall not be liable for failure to perform its obligations when prevented by events beyond its control, including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of war, terrorism, civil unrest, labor disruptions, governmental actions, border closures, health emergencies, transportation interruptions, or supplier defaults.
If a tour is canceled due to a force majeure event, Nahal Tours will issue a Future Travel Credit equal to amounts paid, less any unrecoverable third-party expenses. Future Travel Credits expire one year from issuance, are non-transferable unless approved in writing, and hold no cash value.
If travel is interrupted mid-program and Nahal Tours provides alternative arrangements, passengers agree to assume responsibility for any additional costs incurred.
When suppliers issue credits in lieu of refunds, Nahal Tours’ refund obligations are limited accordingly.
Passport, Entry Requirements, and Travel Documents
A valid passport is required for all international travel and must remain valid for at least six months beyond the tour return date.
Passengers are solely responsible for securing all required travel documents, visas, authorizations, and entry approvals.
Travelers to Israel must obtain an approved ETA-IL prior to departure where required. Official information is available at:
https://israel-entry.piba.gov.il
Registration names must match passports exactly. Fees resulting from incorrect documentation are the passenger’s responsibility.
Failure to present proper documentation may result in denied boarding or entry without refund.
Travel Insurance
Travel insurance is strongly recommended to protect against unforeseen events such as trip interruption, medical emergencies, baggage loss, and travel delays.
Passengers are responsible for reviewing policy details, limitations, and exclusions to ensure adequate coverage.
Rooming
Married couples are assigned together by default.
Solo travelers requesting a roommate will be matched when possible; however, roommate placement is not guaranteed. If a roommate is unavailable or cancels, the passenger is responsible for the single supplement.
Health, Mobility, and Fitness to Travel
Passengers must be in sufficient physical condition to participate in a moderately active travel program that may include extended walking, uneven terrain, stairs, and varying climates.
Any medical condition, mobility limitation, or special accommodation request must be disclosed prior to registration.
Nahal Tours reserves the right to decline or remove a participant whose condition presents a risk to themselves or the group.
Itinerary Flexibility
Travel — particularly in the Middle East — requires flexibility. Sites, travel routes, hotels, airlines, or schedules may be modified due to security considerations, local conditions, governmental directives, or operational needs.
Comparable substitutions may be made without liability.
Such adjustments do not constitute grounds for refund.
Decision Authority During the Tour
The Tour Leader, Guide, or Nahal Tours representative has final authority over all operational decisions during the tour, including itinerary adjustments, site access, transportation, accommodations, and group movement.
These decisions are made in the interest of safety, security, group welfare, and operational integrity and are not subject to individual negotiation while the tour is in progress.
Land-Only Arrangements
Land-only packages begin at the first hotel and conclude on the final tour day. Passengers are responsible for coordinating independent air travel in accordance with the group schedule.
Expenses resulting from travel deviations are the responsibility of the passenger.
Luggage
Porterage for one suitcase per passenger is included unless otherwise noted. Passengers are responsible for carry-on items and should verify airline baggage policies prior to departure.
Photography Release
By participating in the tour, passengers grant Nahal Tours permission to use photographs or video taken during the trip for promotional purposes unless written notice is provided prior to departure.
Limitation of Liability
Nahal Tours acts solely as an agent for airlines, hotels, transportation providers, and other suppliers.
Nahal Tours shall not be liable for injury, loss, damage, delay, or additional expense arising from acts beyond its control, including supplier defaults, mechanical failures, labor disputes, criminal acts, terrorism, weather events, or governmental actions.
International travel involves inherent risks, including illness, injury, travel delays, political instability, terrorism, natural disasters, and varying standards of safety and medical care.
By voluntarily participating, passengers acknowledge and assume these risks and agree that Nahal Tours shall not be liable for circumstances beyond its control.
Nahal Tours reserves the right to refuse participation, remove a passenger, or make itinerary adjustments when necessary for safety, group harmony, or operational integrity. Expenses resulting from such actions are the responsibility of the passenger.
Airlines and other carriers are not responsible for events occurring outside their control or when passengers are not onboard.
Seller of Travel and California Disclosures
Nahal Tours is registered under the California Seller of Travel Law. Registration does not constitute state approval.
Nahal Tours maintains a trust account in compliance with California law. Transactions may be eligible for coverage under the Travel Consumer Restitution Corporation (TCRC) for California residents.
The maximum reimbursement available through TCRC is $15,000. Claims must be submitted within six months of the scheduled completion of travel.
Non-California residents are not eligible to file claims with TCRC.
