Shalom Fellow Travelers,

Like many of you, we’ve been closely following the events unfolding over the past several days. These are historic and consequential times. As we’ve watched developments with great interest and discernment, we want to share with you how we are processing these moments and what they mean for our ongoing mission of bringing people to Israel.

For over 45 years, the Iranian regime has broadcast its hostility toward Israel with unrelenting clarity. Through state-sponsored terrorism and the funding of proxy groups like Hamas and Hezbollah, their intentions have not been subtle. One of the enduring lessons the people of Israel have learned is that when threats are issued by those who hate them, they must be taken seriously. And yet, in the face of such hostility, Israel has consistently demonstrated resolve, resilience, and the remarkable ability to not only endure but to flourish.

The story of the rise and fall of nations can be seen as in the shape of an arch—and by every indication, Iran’s radical regime is amid a phase of decline in its arc of influence. Syria has been diminished, and much of the Arab world has moved increasingly toward stability, modernization, and closer ties with the West. Hezbollah and Hamas have been marginalized. Against this backdrop, Israel taking decisive steps to finally neutralize the nuclear threat is not only rational—it’s necessary. We are praying for a swift, thorough operation by the IDF that brings long-term safety to the region.

Naturally, we are asked how all of this impacts our tours and our commitment to bringing travelers to the Land. The answer is this: we remain steadfast in our mission. Through wars, unrest, pandemics, and global uncertainty, the call to walk where Jesus walked, to study the Scriptures in the land where they were revealed, and to stand in solidarity with Israel has never been more vital.

In the past 12 years—and building on the legacy of over 50 years of faith-based travel to Israel—we’ve watched God move powerfully in and through our tours. Yes, there have been seasons of challenge, but they’ve always been followed by powerful windows of opportunity—seasons where the Gospel is proclaimed, lives are transformed, and friendships are formed with those in the land who long to live in peace and freedom.

We will continue to plan and prepare. With careful financial stewardship, a watchful eye on world events, and unwavering resolve, we will press forward. Our long-term view of travel to Israel remains optimistic. Our commitment to the ministry of discipleship, Bible engagement, and spiritual renewal through travel is unchanged. Whether the near term brings obstacles or open doors, our hand remains to the plow.

We continue to plan for travel this fall and are eagerly anticipating a vibrant and fruitful spring season in 2026. In the meantime, we pray for Israel’s safety, for wisdom among leaders, and for lasting peace in the land.

If you have any questions or simply want to talk through these things, we welcome the conversation. It’s our joy and honor to serve you—and to walk forward together with faith, clarity, and courage.

With gratitude and resolve,

The Nahal Tours Team
