Here’s a snapshot of our daily itinerary to help you get a feel for the flow of the tour. As always, some adjustments may be made along the way to best serve the group, and we’re so looking forward to exploring this incredible land with you.

TRAVELERS ON THE GROUP FLIGHT

Plan to arrive at LAX – Tom Bradley Terminal by 2:30PM. Be sure to have your passport and any related traveling documents on hand including the ETA-IL visa document. Without these documents you will not be permitted to board the flight to Israel.

At the Lufthansa check in desk you will present your passport in order to check in your luggage and receive your boarding passes. Once boarding passes are received proceed through TSA and meet the group at the assigned gate.

INDEPENDENT FLIGHT ARRIVALS (Land Only)

Plan to arrive at the airport 3 hours prior to your departure. You must also be sure to have your passport and any related traveling documents on hand including the ETA-IL visa document. Without these documents you will not be permitted to board the flight to Israel.

GROUP FLIGHT ARRIVALS

Upon arrival at Ben Gurion Airport, our team will assist you through customs and baggage claim before we board our private coach. We’ll then travel to our hotel along the Mediterranean coast, where we will settle in among beautiful seaside surroundings. Light refreshments and sandwiches will be available upon arrival at the hotel before retiring to our rooms for a well-deserved night of rest.

INDEPENDENT FLIGHT ARRIVALS (Land Only)

For those who arranged their own air travel and are arriving earlier in the day, hotel check-in will be available by 3:00 PM. Early arrivals are welcome to gather in the hotel lobby by 7:00 PM, where they will be shuttled to the evening dinner.

Exploring the coast

This is the first day in Israel with all group members present. The morning will be leisurely with a planned trip in the afternoon to Joppa (Jaffa), where Peter had his vision at Simon the Tanner’s house (Acts 10:9-16) and where Jonah set sail to flee from the Lord (Jonah 1:3). Strolling through the ancient port city, we take in its charm before spending a restful afternoon along the Mediterranean coastline. The specific departure time for our visit to Jaffa will be set and communicated closer to the day.

Meet in the lobby at 5:30PM for an evening dinner out.

Upon returning to the hotel, we will have a short orientation meeting with Pastor John and Michelle before turning in for the night.

Exploring the coast

**Pack a snack on this morning, our lunch will be a bit later in the afternoon today as we journey to the Roman city of Caesarea, where Paul stood trial before Festus and King Agrippa (Acts 25-26). The amphitheater and aqueducts showcase Herod the Great’s architectural prowess. From there, we ascend Mount Carmel, where Elijah confronted the prophets of Baal (1 Kings 18:19-40), and then move on to the Valley of Megiddo (Armageddon), the prophesied site of the final battle (Revelation 16:16).

On our way to Galilee, we will enjoy a fantastic lunch overlooking Nazareth, the town where Jesus grew up (Luke 4:16).

AROUND THE GALILEE

Today we begin the morning by embarking on an inspiring wooden boat ride across the Sea of Galilee, where Jesus calmed the storm and walked on water (Mark 4:35-41, Matthew 14:22-33).

Following our time on the Sea we visit the Ancient Boat Museum, home to a 2,000-year-old fishing boat, similar to those used in Jesus’ time.

We then visit the Mount of Beatitudes, where He delivered the Sermon on the Mount (Matthew 5-7). Lunch on this day features St. Peter’s fish, a regional specialty.

We conclude this day with a baptism on the Jordan River.

EXPLORING THE NORTH

Today, we visit Tel Dan and stand where Jeroboam set up the golden calf (1 Kings 12:26-30) and take in the lush surroundings of the Jordan River headwaters. We then head to explore Caesarea Philippi, where Peter declared Jesus as the Christ (Matthew 16:13-20).

Our journey this day offers views of Mt. Hermon, Israel’s tallest peak (Psalm 133:3), Nimrod’s Castle, and the Golan Heights, a strategic highland with breathtaking vistas from Mt. Bental.

We visit Capernaum, known as Jesus’ “own city” (Matthew 9:1) followed by Magdala, the hometown of Mary Magdalene, which stands as a powerful reminder of Jesus’ ministry to women and His teaching in the Galilee region (Luke 8:1–3).

Following lunch we visit Tabgha the traditional site of St. Peter’s Primacy on the Sea of Galilee, which commemorates John 21:15–17, where the risen Jesus restores Peter and commands him three times, “Feed my sheep.”

We conclude the day at the Gadara lookout, remembered as the location where Jesus cast a legion of demons out of a man and into a herd of pigs (Mark 5:1–20), displaying His authority over spiritual darkness.

THE JORDAN VALLEY

Magdala, a town on the Sea of Galilee, is best known in the Bible as the hometown of Mary Magdalene, a devoted follower of Jesus who witnessed His crucifixion and was the first to see Him after His resurrection (Luke 8:2; John 20:1–18)

Descending into the Jordan Valley, we visit Beit Shean, one of the ten cities of the Decapolis and the place where the Philistines displayed Saul’s body (1 Samuel 31:10). At Gideon’s Spring, we recall how God reduced Gideon’s army to just 300 men (Judges 7).

Before arriving at the Dead Sea, we enjoyed panoramic views during a farm to table lunch on Mount Gilboa.

The day begins with a peaceful morning at the Dead Sea, the lowest place on earth. Next, we visit Qumran, where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered, affirming the reliability of the Scriptures. We then ascend Masada, the site of a heroic last stand against the Romans. At Ein Gedi, where David hid from Saul (1 Samuel 24:1-3), we reflect on the psalms that he may have penned from these caves.

JERUSALEM – THE STEPS OF JESUS

Entering Jerusalem, we stand atop the Mount of Olives, taking in the panoramic view of the city, just as Jesus did when He wept over it (Luke 19:41-44). Walking the Palm Sunday Road, we recall His triumphal entry (Matthew 21:1-11), leading us to the Garden of Gethsemane, where He prayed before His arrest (Luke 22:39-46). The day concludes with a visit to the Israel Museum, home to the Dead Sea Scrolls and a large-scale model of First-Century Jerusalem.

JERUSALEM – ANCIENT FOUNDATIONS

We explore the Jewish Quarter, home to the ancient Roman Cardo and Hezekiah’s Wall. At the Western Wall, we witness Jewish prayers and traditions before touring the underground Western Wall Tunnels. We also visit the Temple Institute, which is preparing vessels for a future temple, and the Southern Steps, where Jesus would have entered the Temple Mount (Luke 2:46-49).

tHE PASSION OF CHRIST

Today, we walk in the footsteps of Jesus’ final hours. We visit the Pool of Bethesda, where He healed a paralytic (John 5:1-15), and St. Anne’s Church, known for its incredible acoustics. At the Antonia Fortress, where Jesus stood before Pilate (John 18:28-40), we begin our journey along the Via Dolorosa, retracing His steps to Calvary. Our pilgrimage culminates at the Garden Tomb, a powerful site to reflect on the resurrection, where we will celebrate communion. The evening concludes with a special farewell dinner, a time of fellowship and reflection on all we have experienced.

In the early morning, we transfer to Ben Gurion Airport for our return flight. As we head home, we leave with a deeper connection to the Scriptures and the experiences of walking where Jesus walked.
